THANKSGIVING 3pm Potluck Dinner

We will be having our annual Thanksgiving potluck at CIYC.  We will be cooking turkeys, hams, potatoes and gravy.  Please plan to bring a side dish to share.

Cameo is having her 27th birthday party at CIYC with some of her friends on Sunday afternoon November 30 from 2 to 4 pm.

Islanders’ Tree Lighting event

Planning meeting for the 2026 fishing season and the repairs on the White Seabass pens.

We will flesh out the Charter schedule and may have a speaker from one of the boats.

We will report on the scope of work to be done on the pens and ask for input and commitments to help with the work.

The plan is to create a salad bar with the Islanders providing lettuce and salad dressing and everyone else providing one or two of the items they love on a salad.  Some of us have done this with other groups and it makes for a great salad.  Based on the number of people we have attending we will either have a bartender or have some wine to go with your salad. 

We are looking for suggestions for activities in 2026.  Of course we are looking for people who want to head committees. You don’t have to make a suggestion; you may just want to hear what will happen this year.  The most important point is to just meet with everyone else!

If you are new to CIYC, this is a great way to meet some new friends!

Dear RAM Community,
 
This is a difficult time for our club, and especially for our RAMS and racers. Jane leaves a hole in our hearts. She was a pillar of our club and the driving force behind a truly world-class racing program. Racing was her passion, and her impact will be felt for years to come.
 
We would like to invite you to join us for the RAM'S Kickoff Meeting on Sunday, January 25, at noon at the club. This will be an opportunity to come together, connect, and discuss the 2026 race program and calendar of water events. We will also be seeking volunteers to help continue the programs Jane lovingly supported and to carry forward her legacy.
 
Even if you are not a RAM, but are interested in becoming more involved in racing and on-the-water activities, you are warmly welcome to attend.
 
Please let me know if you plan to join us so we can plan accordingly.
