DRESS PROTOCOL
FOR OPENING DAY

CIYC is rather a casual dressing club. However; Opening Day has a long historic tradition and with that comes a traditional dress protocol for the day.  It is one of the most important social events of the year.  The Dress protocol for the day is as follows:

Gentlemen’s Nautical Attire:  Navy Blue Blazer with white slacks, CIYC tie, white or black shoes, Club Bullion to be placed on left breast pocket with name tag on right blazer lapel.  (Club Ties and Bullion can be purchased at Club Store).

Ladies’ Nautical Attire:   Navy Blue Blazer with white blouse, pants or skirt, Club Bullion to be placed on left breast pocket and name tag on right blazer lapel.

“Winner Takes All” Lucky Boat Run Game Rules

Boat Start time and location will be decided by each Boat Captain.
Early entrants will receive via email the game map and instructions by noon on Saturday, April 25th or can pick them up at the Welcome Table that Saturday (4/25) evening before 7pm.
Game map and instructions will also be available for pick up on Sunday April 26 at CIYC from noon -1:30pm.

Partcipant Entry Fee - $5 per person on each boat, Boat Captain will be responsible to collect
the entry fees from all participants on their boat.
Entry form must be submited to Rene Aiu in person or by email: aiurene@gmail.com
or submiFed at a Welcome Table by 7 pm on Saturday, April 25th.

All entry fees will be included in the pot and must be paid by each Boat Captain to Rene Aiu
(cash only please) with photo proof of all items no later than 3:15pm on Lucky Boat Run Day.

Best 5 card poker hand will win the entire pot – “Winner Takes All”!
Cards will be dealt to each Boat’s Captain/Representative at 3:30pm at CIYC.

To qualify for a 5-card hand: Each boat must follow the game map and instructions and provide
photo proof of required items before 3:15pm at the club. Cards will be dealt at 3:30pm.

Boat Captain or designated boat representative must be present to qualify to win.
